Fine Dining in Mission Valley!
When in the mood for fine dining, you might consider restaurants in La Jolla, Little Italy, or Del Mar; However, you may not have to go so far. Mission Valley will soon be home to Arlo, an innovative scratch-made cuisine. Arlo uses locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that reflect both the San Diego and the Baja California culture. On their menu, you can find a variety of dishes ranging from Baja Shrimp & Avocado to a California Paella. The menu will include Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten free options. Arlo will also have an innovative cocktail menu, extensive wine list, and San Diego craft beer favorites on tap. The man behind the kitchen is Chef Josh Mouzakes. Chef Mouzakes’s career includes time at the well-known Hotel del Coronado and The French Laundry, a three- Michelin- starred restaurant.
Arlo will be a stand-alone restaurant located within the Town and Country, a Hotel Circle resort. The resort is currently undergoing a $90 million renovation to revamp and upgrade its resort. Arlo is scheduled to open initially for dinner on Wednesday, August 12. If you think COVID-19 will stop Arlo from opening, you better think again. Arlo will feature an extensive outdoor patio with space for 100 seats. Chef Mouzakes aims to channel fine dining into a more interactive experience. You will find Center of the Table plates to share, including a seafood charcuterie. As most of you might know, I am a foodie who is passionate about food. Therefore, I am thrilled to check out Arlo in Mission Valley. I hope to see you there!
