Karl Bublitz – Civita Real Estate Expert

My passion for Real Estate started through acquiring my first investment property over seven years ago. I understand that selling and buying homes can be difficult, but I support my clients through understanding their desires, educating them on the market and securing the best property fit. I’ve lived in Civita for over 6 years now and take a lot of pride in the community.

I am a Towson University Business Management and Baltimore International College Culinary School Professional Cooking graduate, with extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Prior to achieving my California real estate license, I worked as a chef in an upscale Maryland restaurant, as well as catered for musical celebrities’ concert tours traveling across the US. I have also managed a popular downtown San Diego restaurant located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. Through both business and culinary school, I have grown to really understand how to listen to the needs of clients. This skill not only saves my clients time, but stress throughout the process.

When I’m not selling real estate, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and I sparingly partake in snowboarding, mountain biking, sporting events, golfing and exploring San Diego restaurants.

I started Whit at Home for one simple reason – to create beautiful spaces that feel like home & to have fun along the way. Because without fun, what’s the point? I love design, but even more than design, I love people. We are on a mission to help each client create a space that reflects your personal style, not mine. Each space is curated with you in mind, so no two spaces look alike. 

During the design process we love to learn about our clients. It’s not all design related. There truly is nothing more personal than inviting someone into your home–so let’s get comfy! We want to meet your dog, cat, any type of animal really. What’s your favorite restaurant? Where were you raised? What do you like to do on the weekends? We get to know each other A LOT & that’s just the way we like it. 

When the project is sadly over, we hate saying goodbye, but we absolutely love to leave you in your new exciting space. This is also a great opportunity for you & your family to all get together and celebrate your new space with personal photos. Hang the photos in your “new” home and show off the hard work YOU helped us with.
