Civita Park Food Truck Tuesdays!

Are you a fan of the new food truck craze? If so, you will love Taco Truck Tuesdays at Civita park from 5-9pm. There are usually at least six food trucks to choose from with a variety of gourmet cuisines. One of my favorite food trucks is Sushi Uno that offers a Fire Tuna specialty roll that’s prepared with tuna, avocado & cilantro with lemon slices, jalapeño slices & spicy sauce.

Concerts at the Park

Throughout the summer you will be able to enjoy live music at the park from 6-7:30pm. Concerts are held every second Sunday of the month with a new genre each month. If you are in the mood for a little snack, walk on over to the parking lot where you will find food trucks serving something delicious. This is a great place to unwind after the weekend and to get your week started with a little rhythm. So, grab a blanket, put your dancing shoes on and head on over to Civita park for a little dancing.

Here is a list of the upcoming concerts:
  •  June 9 – Liquid Blue
  • July 14 – Full Strength Funk
  • August 11 – Mighty Untouchables
  • September 8 – BetaMaxx

Civita Park Updates

Here is more information on Civita Park, including their exciting future additions. With a sprawling 14.3-acres across multiple levels, Civita park is the largest park in Mission Valley. The first phase opened over a year ago and features an outdoor amphitheater, dog park, basketball half-courts, community garden, picnic tables, splash pad and a game area. The second phase of the park is currently under construction. This phase will include a bocce court, picnic grove, mining relic terrace, interpretive gardens, open fields, two play grounds and restrooms. This phase of the park is expected to be completed by early 2020. Whether you are hosting a barbeque with friends or are looking for a venue for your child’s birthday party, Civita Park is the place for you.
