After my uncle's unexpected passing, I interviewed several real estate agents to help me in listing his condo in Civita. Karl's presentation during our listing appointment blew me away. His kindness and consideration during a difficult time was met equally by direct suggestions and a professional, confident plan to quickly stage, photograph, and list the property. Karl assured me that he would make the process as smooth as possible and would take care of all of the details. This was incredibly reassuring as I live in New York and was only in San Diego for two weeks. Not only did Karl close the deal well over asking (in just 5 weeks after listing!), he efficiently handled even the smallest details, keeping me informed and updated along the way. I confidently and strongly recommend Karl for his knowledge of the area, strong communication, and willingness to go above and beyond for his clients.
Karl is very knowledgeable about all things Civita and his marketing materials are best in class. Karl found a buyer for us before we even hit the market. This was a very pleasant experience.
"Karl is very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He made the sale of our home extremely easy and stress free. We got way more than we expected from the sale of the house, thanks to his expertise and his team. I highly recommend Karl Bublitz!"
"Great experience! We recently sold our old home and bought a new one with Karl! He was able to find us the perfect buyer for our old place - we were really picky and needed to find a buyer that was willing to rent back to us while we hunted for a new home in this crazy market. He found us that buyer, and at full asking price!"
"After writing the previous review we hired Karl (and his colleague Ryan Ponce) to sell our duplex. Karl was fantastic and successfully closed the sale even after we had an unexpected surprise during a buyer's inspection. His calm demeanor and creative ideas helped save the day. I highly recommend Karl and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again."
"Karl is a great realtor! I had absolutely no clue where and how to start with selling my home, and I am so lucky I had Karl. Karl was very patient and kind responding to all my questions and responded promptly. He laid out easy steps and I didn’t feel overwhelmed with the process. The open house, which we only showed for one weekend, was a success and they pulled out all the stops, including a donut bar at the showing. Such a nice touch! After only a couple of days on the market we got double digit offers and went into escrow in less than a week. We ended up getting way over asking price! I highly recommend Karl and appreciate all the hard work he did."
"Thank you Karl Bublitz!! My husband and I had a great experience selecting our first home with Karl! Right from the beginning, he understood what we were looking for and chose properties that he knew we would like as well as keeping our budget in mind. He really does his homework and has great presentation skills and is not pushy at all. His knowledge of the downtown market and connections with property management and sales teams are what sets him apart. He has great energy and very genuine. Not only did he make us feel well taken care of, he followed up every step of the process and answered all of our questions immediately. We are so happy with our condo selection downtown San Diego and highly recommend him to anyone selling or buying downtown!"
"Karl is a very good listener. It did not take him long to figure out our preferences and focus on homes that we both saw as excellent options. When it came time to sell our second rental property we went straight to Karl and in the end we wished we had listed the first property with him. Karl is very patient, and works with an outstanding marketing team that knows how to market your properties best features. If you are looking for an honest, direct and very hard working realtor go no further. Karl is professional and committed to the best possible outcome for their clients."
"I'm really fortunate to have met Karl. I was shopping for homes previously with another agent that was too pushy. My girlfriend randomly met Karl at an open house, and a couple days later, he was showing me houses. He has a calm and laid back demeanor which I clicked very well with. He let me take my time looking at properties and listened well to help get a better understanding of what I was looking for. When I found the place I was looking for, he helped me every step of the way. He walked me through negotiating offers, setting up a home inspection, renegotiating for repairs, and escrow paperwork. He was very knowledgeable and prompt. I had so many questions and must have called him a million times, but he was always there to help and never once seemed annoyed with me. He got me the house I wanted at the price I wanted. I would recommend Karl to anyone looking to buy or sell a home and will definitely work with him again in the future."
