The Civita’s Farmers Market in Mission Valley is back and it continues to be one of the highlights of living in Mission Valley. Held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Civita Park, it brings together a strong mix of local vendors, fresh produce, and some of the best casual food options in the area.
If you’re looking for fresh fruits and vegetables from certified local growers, handcrafted goods, or just a great way to spend a Saturday morning, this is easily one of the best spots in San Diego to do it.
It’s also one of those places that really showcases what Civita is all about. Walkability, community, and a lifestyle that feels elevated but still relaxed.

has quickly become one of the standouts at the market. What started as a farmers market favorite has grown into a full local bakery, known for its naturally leavened sourdough breads made with a 100 year old starter. Their bread alone is worth the visit, but they also bring a great selection of bagels and rotating baked goods that always draw a line.
is a small, family owned plant business rooted in the heart of Barrio Logan. They always have a great selection of unique plants, and what really stands out is how knowledgeable and approachable they are. Whether you’re new to plants or already deep into it, it’s one of those booths you end up spending more time at than expected.
is still one of my go to stops and honestly one of the best salsas you will find in San Diego. The roasted salsa verde and the spicy roasted roja are both incredible. The flavors are bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It’s one of those vendors where once you try it, you end up coming back every week.
